Hodgdon Tenders expands its offerings with a new Tender range: The Crossover line!
7th April 2020
Dedicated to building luxurious, top-tier superyacht tenders, Hodgdon Tenders expanded its offerings in late 2019.
Superyacht Tenders & Toys are privileged to be able to work with Hodgdon on large and small custom builds which are designed individually for clients to match the mothership. Take a look at our tenders page!
Ranging from eight to eleven metres, the Crossover line includes the open and beachlander styles, with a limousine under development.
All showcase styling by Cyril Le Sourd and naval architecture by Philippe Cabon, with engineering completed by Hodgdon Tenders’ in-house team.
First to launch from the Crossover line and the smallest in the range, the eight-metre open tender sports various stand-out features including a folding helm console, a retractable carbon-fibre t-top, custom wrap-around fenders and a water jet drive engineered as an ideal tool for beach landings. For easy beach access, the tender’s bow features a fold-out ramp which acts as a stepover platform. The dynamic and modern lines were created for very demanding owners and crew on board superyachts. “This has been under development for over five years,” said Cyril Le Sourd. “After carefully listening to the expectations of superyacht captains, Owner’s representatives, and key industry players, the crossover line was born.”
The eight-metre tender from the Crossover line can carry up to twelve guests on board and is powered by a Volvo D3-220 engine. It’s versatile enough to explore the coastline in total comfort and perform various water sport activities. Director of Sales & Marketing at Hodgdon Tenders, Audrey Hodgdon, commented: “We’re very enthusiastic about the new Crossover line with its contemporary styling and modern look. It allows us the opportunity to offer more to the market, as we remain committed to our classic Venetian line which continues to be very successful with orders currently under construction.”
