Ses Illetes

Meaning ‘beach of the small islands’, Ses Illetes (or Playa de Ses Illetes) is a popular hang-out for superyachts. This idyllic beach is perfect for beginner Seabobbers, with its shallow and calm waters.

Get up close and personal with beautiful boats of all sizes, ducking and weaving around long, sweeping, protected bays. While it may not offer the tranquillity of a secluded beach, it guarantees a vibrant atmosphere and an enjoyable swimming experience.

Cova Rosa

Once you’ve built up your confidence around Ses Illetes, hop back onboard and travel south to Cova Rosa. Escape the crowds amidst dramatic cliffs, hidden caves, and deep ravines, perfect for honing your new SEABOB skills.

Follow magical shafts of light that pierce the ocean through deep hollows in the rock. Master the art of breathing control, or take a 1.1L MiniDive for peace of mind. The water is deep, and there isn’t an easily accessible beach, so always explore in pairs.

Cap Ferrat

Cannes Underwater Museum

The Cap Ferrat Peninsula, with its stunning coastal views and luxurious villas, is also home to a unique underwater attraction. Located near Sainte-Marguerite Island, the Cannes Underwater Ecomuseum features submerged sculptures that create an extraordinary underwater gallery.

Using a SEABOB, you can effortlessly glide around art installations, providing a unique blend of culture and adventure. The museum’s location in the clear waters of the Mediterranean ensures excellent visibility, allowing you to appreciate the artistic display fully.

Palermo

Secca della Colombara, Ustica

Ustica presents some of the Mediterranean’s most breathtaking diving experiences for those seeking to venture off the beaten path. Renowned as a diver’s paradise, Ustica is located 60km north of Palermo.

Discover the Secca della Colombara dive site, featuring the wreckage of a commercial ship that ran aground in 2005. Starting at a depth of just 3 meters, divers can encounter vast schools of groupers and mesmerising barracuda spirals as they descend to 35 meters. This site is perfect for jet-aided scuba diving with a SEABOB.
