Husband and wife team, Josh and Claire Richardson founded Superyacht Tenders and Toys in 2011. Motivated by remarkable industry experience, their objective was to simplify the intricate business of cost control and purchasing — specifically, that relating to the acquisition of a yacht’s highest ticket items: tenders and toys.

Acutely in tune with the complexities of yacht management, the appetite for their impartial one-stop consultancy grew exponentially. As the industry surged, so did the company. After winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2017, followed by inclusion in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 in 2019, the payroll in 2024 is proudly twenty-five strong.
